Meet us on the 14th...
It's going down!
We are The Collective, an ad hoc committee of the Cincinnati Branch of the NAACP, and on Saturday, May 14th we are hosting Trap Karaoke in OTR!
Pregame with us at Revolution Rotisserie (1106 Race St) then head next door to Elementz (1100 Race St) for food and karaoke.
Come one, come all, bring a guest and have fun with us!
It's gonna be crazy, don't miss out!
Walk next door to Elementz for Trap Karaoke. Yeah, you'll get a chance to perform your favorite Future, Lil Bibby, 8 Ball & MJG or [Insert Your Favorite Trap Artist] tracks. Plus you'll have the opportunity to play spades & dominoes, register to vote and join the NAACP ($30) & The Collective. Your ticket price includes food at Elementz so you can eat in between sets just like any trapstar would.
Meet us at the registration table where we will check you in and get you a wristband (just in case you want to run back to the bar for another Purple Reign). Make sure you register early, day of registration will run you $10.
“The Collective” is an ad-hoc committee of the Cincinnati branch of the NAACP. The committee represents the voices of the NAACP’s emerging leaders. We are members 21-40 years of age, empowering the communities in which we work and live.
Given the climate of the African-American community and community at-large, we believe there is a social responsibility to foster a collective voice. We see opportunities for growth within our community and have a focused plan to foster collaboration, mentorship, and voter engagement within it.
We are making history. Trap Karaoke is the first of many events that we will host this year. If you also believe Cincinnati needs a no-judgement zone, where we can discuss real issues, mentor the youth and have a lasting impact on the city, join us today!
